"It took only 2 months of working with Rachel to heal 90% of my pain and 2 more to be 100% healthy again. Writing this is still surreal to me, especially because how bad my pain and dark my life was. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her help & guidance. I will forever be grateful to her and the work she is doing."

“I found Rachel when I was at rock bottom, both physically and mentally. My condition had worsened to the point that I could no longer work and had zero quality of life, I was willing to try anything. That is what lead me to reaching out to Rachel. Thanks to her support, over 3 short months I have overcome crippling RSI, digestive issues, chronic pain and even gluten intolerance. To me PRT is something akin to a miracle, it has healed me in ways I never thought possible, things that I never thought could get better have healed. Thanks to Rachel's guidance my mental state has also now vastly improved, there is a spaciousness that has returned to my life, I am eternally grateful to her."

“Pain Reprocessing Therapy has given me my life back. My pain was so pervasive I was bed-bound. Fearful, feeling trapped and desperate I researched mind body therapies and discovered PRT. With patience, consistency and implementing the protocol Rachel diligently taught me, I eventually dialled down the pain and regained my confidence. I am now walking several miles a day, cycling and practising yoga/meditation. With Rachel expertly and gently guiding me I have complete understanding of the pain/mind body connection and with a heart full of gratitude I am reliving my life again"

“Working with Rachel has been a life-changing experience. Before seeing her, I struggled with chronic pain, persistent anxiety, and paralyzing rumination. The work I’ve done with Rachel has been unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Through pain reprocessing therapy, she takes a somatic and compassionate approach, helping me integrate these techniques into my life. Rachel has taught me to reframe my symptoms and regulate my emotions from a place of empowerment, accountability, and self-compassion. As a result, I’ve seen a significant reduction in both my physical symptoms and anxiety. More importantly, I now have a sustainable, manageable way to process my emotions. and feel a deeper sense of peace in my life, confident in my abilities to navigate future challenges”.

What is Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)? Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is a cutting-edge, scientifically backed approach that helps retrain the brain to stop sending unnecessary pain signals and unlearn chronic pain. Research shows that many persistent pain conditions are caused by the brain being stuck in a cycle of fear and pain signals. PRT gently teaches brain that these signals are not dangerous, to let go of this pain-fear cycle, helping you feel safe in your body again- often reducing or even eliminating pain.

What conditions can PRT help with? PRT is most effective for conditions where neuroplastic pain plays a role, including: Chronic back, neck, or joint pain Fibromyalgia Migraines and tension headaches Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Pelvic pain Repetitive strain injuries (RSI) Unexplained nerve pain PRT does not claim to heal structural damage (e.g., fractures or infections), but even in diagnosed conditions, neuroplastic pain can amplify symptoms. Addressing it can improve overall well-being.

How long does it take to see results? Everyone’s journey is different. Some people experience a shift in days or weeks, while for others, it’s more gradual. Healing isn’t about forcing change—it’s about gently reconfiguring neural pathways over time. The key is consistent practice and patience.

How do I know if my pain is neuroplastic pain? Neuroplastic pain is real pain, but it originates from the brain’s learned pain pathways rather than structural damage. It’s more likely to be neuroplastic if: It has lasted longer than expected after an injury or has no clear medical cause. It moves around, changes in intensity, or flares up with stress or emotions. Medical scans and tests show no clear structural reason for the pain. If this sounds familiar, there’s a good chance that PRT could help you.

Is PRT scientifically proven? Yes! A 2021 study published in JAMA Psychiatry found that 66% of people with chronic back pain became pain-free after four weeks of PRT, and 98% had significant improvements. Brain imaging also showed reduced pain-related activity in the brain. There are many other successful studies that are referenced in the Living Pathway Resources page
