The Boulder Back Pain Study (University of Boulder, Colorado) – published in October of 2021 in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Psychiatry. It was the first published example of positively – even in participants who had suffered for decades. The researchers – neuroscientists, doctors, and psychiatrists – in this incredibly successful study only used one intervention with the participants.
